What's this all about?

mul·li·gan (noun): a free shot sometimes given to a golfer in informal play when the previous shot was poorly played

Yes, it's National Mulligan Day again (and yes, there really is one). For the second consecutive year, Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort, has created the a poll to determine which famous sporting mishap is most in need of a "do-over."

This year's candidates are pulled from the past 12 months of sporting calamity (sorry, Tom Watson's 18th-hole bogey at Turnberry in 2009 doesn't count), and hope to follow in the inauspicious footsteps of last year's (then) all-time winner: Jean van de Velde's 72nd-hole meltdown at the 1999 British Open.

Have fun and choose your favorite, infamous incident. The non-scientific poll closes at midnight on October 17 and the results will be announced shortly afterward.
